These are our tour destinations currently being offered in 2024-25
Six countries in one tour - we weave our way through Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania and the Italian Dolomites.
Take all the glaciers of NZ, the mountains of the Alps, the geysers of Yellowstone, the fjords of Norway and add a few volcanoes; throw in better seafood than Tasmania and better lamb than New Zealand, toss it all on a rock in the Atlantic and take away all the people. Iceland; way cool.
We traverse the entire length of the Kingdom of Bhutan, from west to east and then loop back via a different route from east to west. Some of our chosen roads are so new, they're not even on Google Maps yet!
Legendary wildlife parks for close encounters with 'the big 5' and lots more. Glorious sweeping roads through unbelievable landscapes.
Morocco is a long-time favourite with musicians, film directors, surfer types and two-wheeled adventurers. See the Sahara Desert on a camel safari, cross the Atlas Mountains, cruise the Atlantic Coast, visit the Imperial capitals of Marrakech and Fes, as well as Casablanca, Chefchaouen and Essaouira.
The legendary fjords and twisty mountain roads of Norway probably need no real introduction. We ride 5,000km and visit lots of them on our way into the Arctic Circle to the Lofoten Peninsula.

Himalayan Heights

Four Corners of S.E. Asia
We are unique in offering four of the South East Asian countries in the one tour. At 24 days, it's the longest tour we've ever offered. We have a rest day in each countries, to explore the cultural and historical highlights of the region.

When you arrive at one of our destinations, you won't be met at the hotel by Joe Citizen who's only been there once before and sits in the van, you'll be met by one of the company's directors/owners who rides with you. Our tour package includes:

World On Wheels
Mike Ferris established and owns the business and we very much believe in the personal hands-on approach. Even now after 30 years he still leads most of the tours himself, although we do occasionally engage a contracted tour leader to guide a tour they've previously done with us.
Need Some Inspiration?
Well, as everyone is aware, the world was suddenly a very changed place thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic. This meant virtually all our tours were on hold for a couple of years while we were in a state of forced hibernation.
We're happy to advise the world has opened up again and we've resumed our portfolio of tours in the second half of 2023, and all of 2024 and beyond.
